Portland - Office Furniture Specialists
Work, the office, school - not terms that usually paint a picture of inspiration or enjoyment. But these are spaces where people go to create, lead, achieve, learn, heal, and teach.
So, we're happy to apply our passion and knowledge to ensure every furnishing - the color, finish, size, shape, function and comfort level, - contributes to a more enjoyable, productive, sustainable and inspired environment.
It's our mission to collaborate with you to bring these spaces to life. After all, they're where you live a good part of your life, whether in Oregon, Eugene, Corvallis, Bend, Medford, the coast or in Portland, office furniture, modular walls, power, data, and millwork from Environments create a sustainable workplace to support your productivity and comfort at work.
We are proud and elated to announce that for a third year running, we have been named by Oregon Business Magazine as one of the 100 Best Green Companies to work for! In 2010, we were ranked 64th, and in 2011, we moved up to 57th. Now, we rank at #51 for 2012! Congratulations and thanks to our employees and vendors who make important decisions every day that keep Environments moving in the right direction toward greener, more sustainable practices for Portland. Office furniture & conventional construction is not thought of very often in terms of being green, but we believe they can be using sustainable products and modular construction.
The Lounge Collection
When it comes to modern and elegant office furniture, Portland, Eugene, Medford, Bend, the coast and throughout the state, we offer an array of choices with Knoll Studio. The new lounge collection by Pierre Beucler and Jean-Christophe Poggioli of Paris-based Architecture & Associés offers a refined elegance while maintaining a casual and contemporary aesthetic. The composition is characterized by graceful transitions between the exterior surround and its upholstered core. The signature leg elegantly delivers the frame to the floor. Each detail from cushion construction to horizontal surfaces for electronic devices is thoughtfully executed for repose. For more information, click here.
